Compare stocks against their peers
Every price rebased to 100, each name against the average of the others, drawdowns from the high and how closely they move together. Load closing prices from a CSV, or open a simulated sample. Runs in this tab; nothing is uploaded.
Start with a sample or your own prices
Pick Chips & cloud to see every chart with simulated data, or drop a CSV of daily closes. Download prices from your broker or data service: most offer a CSV of price history. A file per symbol works; so does one table with a column per symbol.
Rebased to 100
Each name against its peers
Solid line: the name. Dashed: equal-weight average of the other selected names, both starting at 100. The band below is the gap in index points, blue when ahead, red when behind.
Drawdown from the high
How far each price sat below its highest close so far in the window. 0% means a new high.
Correlation of daily returns
1.00 moves in lockstep, 0 unrelated, below 0 moves opposite.

How it works
- Where do the prices come from?
- From you. Export daily closes from your broker, your data provider or a spreadsheet. This page never fetches quotes from a website. The two samples are simulated prices for fictional companies.
- Which CSV layouts work?
- A long table (
date, symbol, close), a wide table (date,AAA,BBB,...) or one file per symbol withDate, Open, High, Low, Close, Adj Close, Volume; the file name becomes the symbol and adjusted close is used when present. Dates like 2026-10-30, 10/30/2026, 30.10.2026, Oct 30, 2026 and Unix timestamps are read; prices like $1,234.50 and 1.234,50 too. - What do the numbers mean?
- Return: change from the first to the last close in the window. vs peers: the name's rebased value minus its peer average, in points. Ann. return: compound yearly rate, shown for windows of a year or more. Ann. vol: standard deviation of daily returns, scaled to a year. Max drawdown: the deepest fall from a running high. Beta: how much the name moved per 1% move in its peer average.
- Different start dates or holidays?
- The comparison starts when every selected name has a price and stops at the earliest last date, and the page says which name set the limit. A date one market was closed carries that name's previous close forward.
